Coffee

Coffee....hmmmmmm...
what can i say ... it so nice...its so refreshing...its so energetic...

The aroma of freshly brewed filter coffee draws us up from the bed even on sunday
early mornings...  wow! it is so tasty & what a great feeling....

There is a saying:
A cup of coffee shared with friend (or husband) is like happiness tasted &
 time well spent.
mmmm very true....provided my hubby makes a nice filter coffee for me ;)

Well  i should admit  that my husband makes one of the best coffees . He is so perfect & passionate about it, that he says shayari  (well in his broken hindi but very cute though):
woh subha bhi koi subha hai kya jiske pehle raat na ho....
woh subha bhi koi subha hai kya jiske pehle raat na ho, woh breakfast bhi kya
jiske bhaad (after) ek glass coffee na ho.......
(wah wah! wah wah!...me & my son had great fun)
Well! people are so much crazy about coffee...

One of  our dear friends who is such a passionate coffee drinkers  used to drive miles together to have a nice filter coffee.... wow what do you gift such a person on their farewell party, who were moving out of the country.....??? a coffee mug... a coffee maker... packs of coffee beans or a nice coffee filter to brew coffee... mmmmmmm???? well i chose the gift my way.....
               a Coffee Painting....
(yes a painting made with coffee dicoction)
The couples were so happy and pleased with it (he actually enjoyed aroma from the painting..and complimented by saying "  this is the most  beautiful aromatic painting i have ever come across)  & i really felt very happy... :) Thanks to both of them who were such a nice people to us... we miss both of you Anu & Sridhar. ..

And now come the pics of my painting...well i didnt take pictures in process but just the finished painitng.

The process is very easy...
1. sketch the desired image on a drawing paper
2. take any instant coffee but  preferably BRU instant coffee powder
3. mix different amount of water with coffee powder to make different shades of paint
4. using this mixture paint with brush
5. after it dries jazz it up with glitter pen
5. finally prevent the insect attack from spraying varnish recommended for water colors.

hope you liked it..let me know what do u think  ....
Have a happy refreshing morning....

  2. Lovely Ganesha! Is there a chance that the coffee paint might fade over time or the varnish would seal any atmospheric effect and prevent deterioration? http://texturesandcolors.blogspot.com/
